بوكي — Booki

Introduction

Booki (بوكي) is a personal app for managing expenses, budgets, and financial goals. We believe your financial data is highly sensitive, so the app is designed to work locally on your device without sending your information to our servers.

At a glance

Data the app uses

You may enter information such as:

• Balance, income, expenses, and commitments
• Savings goals, projects, and associations (ROSCA)
• Income sources and notes you add
• App settings (e.g. salary day, theme mode)

This data is used only within the app to calculate your budget and show reports.

Where your data is stored

All app data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). If you enable a passcode, it is stored in the iOS Keychain via Secure Store. We do not transmit this data to any server we operate.

What we do not do

• We do not create user accounts on our servers
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing
• We do not use commercial tracking or analytics SDKs
• We do not connect directly to your bank account

Face ID & Touch ID

If you enable app lock, Booki uses iOS Face ID or Touch ID to protect access. Processing happens entirely on your device; we never receive your biometric data.

Notifications

The app may request notification permission to send local alerts (e.g. daily spending limit reminders). These are scheduled on-device and do not require an external server.

Apple services

The app runs on iOS and is subject to Apple's policies. Any data related to iCloud Backup or the App Store is governed by Apple's privacy policy if enabled on your device.

Deleting your data

You can delete all data by removing the app from your device. The app also provides options to delete records or reset monthly data from Settings.

Children

Booki is intended for personal adult use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top when material changes are made.
